Have you been just dying to try your hand at dyeing?
Then I have put together the perfect giveaway for you.
Four 1/4 yards of string mohair, and if you are really daring and want to play with color, 10 packets of Kool-Aid.
Picture 1: LouBear 1/2” (9mm,) medium density string mohair
Picture 2: LouBear 5/8” (18mm,) sparse, crushed, string mohair
Picture 3: LouBear 5/8” (18mm,) medium density string mohair
(All of the LouBear is 100% mohair. I know they sometimes mix their mohair with viscose, but this is not mixed.)
Picture 4: 1/2” (13mm,) dense string mohair
(I just purchased a large piece of this one on ebay. The seller thought it was Schulte. After seeing the selvage edge I believe it to be English Norton, my favorite. What ever it is it is beautiful.)
Now being a more natural girl myself and can tell you that I have done lots of dyeing with Rit fabric dyes, and they dye both the mohair and the backing beautifully.
If you have not dyed with KoolAid, there is an old post on this blog. You can find it here.
This giveaway is open to all of the followers of Desertmountainbear’s blog. If you are not a follower and would like to enter become a follower.
Then just leave me a comment and I will leave you a number.
I will pick a name on October 31, Halloween. If you do not have your email account attached to your blog account please check back on October 31. All shipping expenses paid by me.
